A prestigious hospital in West Los Angeles is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Assistant to join their dynamic team.  The ideal candidate should reside in close proximity to the hospital for a short commute.

As a key member of the medical team, the Medical Assistant will ensure the highest level of patient care and support.  Responsibilities include greeting patients, taking vital signs, administer immunizations, injections and oral medication, prepare lab work and specimens, maintain and prepare exam rooms.

Pay Rate Range:  $23.00/hr.
Shift: Monday – Friday / 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
City:  Los Angeles, CA

Medical Assistant Job Requirements:

• 2+years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or medical office setting; Pediatric experience preferred
• Proficiency in blood draws, phlebotomy, and venipunctures; Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Working knowledge of medical insurances, referral processes and benefit plans is preferred
• Experience with EPIC/CS Link systems is preferred
• Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited school; or national certification (AAMA, AMCA or MMCI)
