Join our team as a Cast Technician (Orthopedic Technician) and play a pivotal role in providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients. Room for growth, opportunity to work with an exceptional team, and broaden your skill set. 

We're looking for a skilled individual who excels in patient interaction and possesses strong clinical abilities. As a Cast Technician, you'll greet patients, assess their needs, and provide vital support during casting procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients, performing examinations, adjusting casts, and educating patients and their families on proper care techniques. Additionally, you'll serve as a resource for patients via telephone, addressing concerns related to casts and orthopedic devices.

Position: Orthopedic Technician
Shift: Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Compensation: $28.00 per hour 
Job Duties for Orthopedic Technician:

• Greet patients and screen for appropriate information
• Prepare and position patients for casting, treatment procedures, and cast removal
• Assemble orthopedic splints using metal or fiberglass material
• Instruct patients on cast wear, wound care, maintenance, and proper use of orthopedic devices
• Dispense medication directed by physicians and educate patients about medications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Orthopedic Technician
• Previous experience in orthopedics or a related field preferred
• Ability to perform clinical procedures with attention to detail
• Knowledge of casting techniques and orthopedic care protocols
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask efficiently
